The cold heading steel Q10B21-C of Xingtai Steel was recognised by Honda Motor in 2015 June after three years of recognition. The MP technology agreement was signed by two parties. Xingtai Steel has become the only one steel wire producing companies which is officially certified by Honda Motor. Recently, good news came in April 2016 that the bulk supply technical agreement of cold heading steel MnB123H was signed, which means that the second product of Xingtai Steel certified by Honda Motor and cold heading boron steel produced by Xingtai steel added into the official Honda procurement system. Xingtai Steel become the qualified supplier to senior and high-end Japanese series of Honda joint venture such as Dongfeng Honda and Guangqi Honda. This provide a solid support for the cold heading steel products of Xingtai Steel to enter into high-end auto market.
World-renowned automotive supplier Honda is carrying out Chinese market localization strategy on the raw materials and finding good material suppliers in the domestic suppliers, Honda has extremely demanding on auto parts quality. The final product quality passed the strict Honda Motor test, recognized by Honda Motor Co., passed the Japan auto certification and successfully replaced Kobe products.
June 28th, 2016, under the co-operation of various departments of the company, Qualified Honda material was successful produced. Along with the delivery of Honda MnB123H wire rod, Xingtai Steel produced one new Honda certified material by entering into the MP stage.
