Because of the economic situation under the new normal, it is required to stimulate the enthusiasm of innovation and improve the quality of innovative outcomes. Recently, the Hebei Quality Culture Association organized experts to evaluate and Launch the fifth press conference about innovative outcomes on quality. Xingtai Steel won a number of prizes: the projects “Establishment and implementation of supervision system for fine equipment” and “Increase the single carbon drawing rate of converter” won the first prize; the project “Innovation of optimizing performance of blast furnace blower” won the second prize; the projects “Reduce cracking rate of alloy tool steel when cold heading” and “Research on coarse grain on the surface of pure iron wire” won the third prize. Zhang Yunpeng won the title of “Excellent promoter of innovation activities on quality in Hebei Province”.
This year, 106 innovative outcomes on quality were released, involving more than 30 enterprises in the pharmaceutical, iron and steel, electric power, food, petroleum, electronics, chemical, construction and other industries. In “the Fifth Conference and Experience Exchanging Meeting on Innovation Outcomes on quality in Hebei Province”, there were 32 first prizes, 41 second prizes and 33 third prizes.
In recent years, with the development theme of “innovation-driven and technology-led”, Xingtai Steel is committed to help supply-side structural reform and continuously meet customer needs. Xingtai Steel has been carrying out "Lean Six Sigma Management reform" to promote the innovative, green and high-quality development. Up to now, 100 basic groups have achieved full coverage of Lean team building; more than 60 Lean Six Sigma projects have been successfully completed, contributing benefits of about 160 million yuan; more than 30,000 projects have been imporved by all employees, creating a value of about 210 million yuan. While reaping internal business performance, it has also been highly recognized by the outside.
